 What We Do...

At Dragon Temple Tae Kwon Do(DTTKD) we teach traditional ITF style Tae Kwon Do.  Classes are offered for children and adults.  Beginners as well as advance students are welcome to join our classes.  Classes are taught by Chief Instructor Tami Smith and are held at Maria High School located at 6727 S. California Ave, Chicago IL 60629.  Classes are held in the gym on Wednesday's 630-730 pm and Saturday's 3-430pm.  Visitors are always welcomed to come by and check us out. 

What is Tae Kwon Do?

 Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial that is over 2000 years old.  “Tae” means to kick or destroy with foot, “Kwon” means fist and “Do” means way or art.  Loosely translated Tae Kwon Do means “The Way of the Hand and Foot.”
